Beauty and the Beast
Jester's Dinner Theater, 224 Main St. Longmont, CO 80501 -
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
Colorado Candlelight Theater, 4747 Marketplace Dr, Johnstown CO 80534 -
The quintessential backstage musical comedy classic, 42nd Street is a song and dance fable of Broadway with an American Dream story that includes some of the greatest songs ever written, such as “We’re In The Money”, “Lullaby of Broadway”, “Shuffle Off To Buffalo”, “I Only Have Eyes For You” and of course “42nd Street”. Peggy Sawyer, a chorus girl from Allentown, PA, steps into the starring role to save the show when its star breaks her leg, in this stage adaptation of the classic 1933 film musical full of huge song and dance numbers that are as brassy and bold as Broadway itself.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Boulder Dinner Theatre, 5501 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder CO 80303 -
The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this musical parable. Joseph, his father’s favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. He is purchased by Potiphar where thwarting advances from Potiphar’s wife lands him in jail. When news of Joseph’s gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh (wryly and riotously depicted as Elvis), Joseph is well on his way to becoming second in command. Eventually his brothers, having suffered greatly, unknowingly find themselves groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed but no longer recognize. After testing their integrity, Joseph reveals himself leading to a heartfelt reconciliation of the sons of Israel. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock ‘n’ roll (lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber), this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless.
Rockies vs Cardinals
Coors Field, 2001 Blake St, Denver CO 80205 -
Miner's Alley Playhouse, 1224 Washington Ave Golden, CO, 80401 -
Welcome to the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where the Emcee, Sally Bowles and a raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd––and to leave their troubles outside. But as life in pre-WWII Germany grows more and more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through their dangerous times?
Come hear some of the most memorable songs in theatre history, including “Cabaret,“ “Willkommen“ and “Maybe This Time.“ Leave your troubles outside — life is beautiful at CABARET, JOHN KANDER, FRED EBB and JOE MASTEROFF’s Tony-winning musical about following your heart while the world loses its way
Littleton Town Hall Arts Center, 2450 W Main St, Littleton CO 80120 -
Hairspray delighted audiences by sweeping them away to 1960s Baltimore, where the 50s are out—and change is in the air. Loveable, plus-size heroine Tracy Turnblad has a passion for dancing, and wins a spot on the local TV dance program, The Corny Collins Show. Overnight she finds herself transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. Can a larger-than-life adolescent manage to vanquish the program’s reigning princess, integrate the television show, and find true love (singing and dancing all the while, of course!) without mussing her hair?
John Hand Theater, 7653 E. 1st Place, Denver CO 80230 -
As history and human obsession collide, no one is who they seem to be in this atmospheric mystery. When a young woman is discovered adrift in the north Atlantic, seemingly a survivor of the decades-old Titanic disaster, a mysterious stranger must discover if she is telling the truth or creating an elaborate fraud. Scotland Road examines the power of secrets in this psychological cat and mouse thriller.
The cast includes Todd Black (John), Mari Geasair ( Halbrech), Katie Mangett (Frances Kittle) and Kelly Dwyer (The Woman).

Happily settled with his partner, Richard is less than thrilled at the prospect of living with his difficult father.
